REMAX Edge Realty, Akron OH

Trying to buy a house in the Akron area. I reached out to null1 estate agent was working with them then. Bouts, to another one then bouts to another 1. Unable to see any houses cause none of them have time to schedule house showings. When asked why I'm being bounced around from run realtor to another all I get is, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry. It's ridiculous. I do not recommend them at all.

I currently rent from Remax in my current home in the Akron area and have ran into yet another issue that has led to me writing this review. The AC unit in my house has been having problems over the past year and we have had to get it fixed/replaced multiple times. This week (which has been in the 90s) has been extremely hot and yet again our AC unit has been faltering leading to my house to slowly rise in temperature into the 80s. After calling Remax stressing the urgency of this issue they proceeded with zero urgency and we are still waiting to hear back from them. Very poorly run organization, I heed others to stay away from this company or anything tied to them.

Do not rent from these people! We have been renting from this company for three months and it has been a disaster the entire time. We should have known when, during the application process, they quit talking to us for a couple weeks and when we contacted them to see what was going on, it was because they had gotten a "bad review" from a previous landlord. It turned out that a previous landlord had confused us with someone else, but Re/Max didn't contact us to let us know, they just figured we were bad tenants that they didn't want to deal with. Once we did our own investigating to find out who gave the bad review (because they wouldn't tell us), we got it straightened out and moved in. After move-in, we found out that the house has some very serious electrical issues. How did we find out? We have had FOUR televisions that have sparked and/or had small fires when we plugged them in.Each time, Re/Max claims it isn't their problem. The Time Warner installer told us that the house is a "death trap" but Re/Max sent their own "electrician" (he wouldn't show us any credentials) out who was there for less than five minutes and proclaimed that the house was fine. We asked for another opinion from an independent electrician and they were extremely rude and told us they wouldn't do anything further because their "electrician" said it was fine. So a couple TV's later, we're going to have to pay for the issue ourselves and then it will probably be a legal battle to get reimbursed for it. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I had a pleasant and smooth experience using RE/MAX. My realtor was friendly and informative. She made buying my first home a great experience
