I have used several other agents to buy and sell homes but never felt they earned their pay. Sally and Darryl changed my opinion about real estate agents. Sally’s vigilance in vetting buyers and scrutinizing paperwork, protected us from at least two bad deals. Darryl’s sales experience and dedication resulted in the sale of our home. 2 years ago I bought a house on Moosehead Lake with the help of Sally Harvey. I was an out-of-state buyer, unable to travel to Maine to view the property. Sally and her husband were kind enough to slowly drive down the road leading to my property while videotaping the area my property was in. She videoed the area between my house and the neighbors so I could see the spacing and did whatever she could to allow me to get the best view of the property without me actually being there. She guided me through each step of the buying process, advising me when negotiations made me unsure of how I should react to the seller’s requests and gave me her opinions as to what I should request of the sellers. Being out of state only made this purchase more complicated as far as completing the necessary documents and Sally was very helpful about answering my questions as to how to accomplish this. She was patient and pleasant to work with. I commend her faith in sticking with someone who called her from out of town. She continued to let me know about available properties until the right property presented itself—didn’t drop me because I wasn’t physically close by. I would certainly contact Sally, and use her again as a realtor, if I were to buy another property. I thank her for helping me make my wishes come true of owning a lakefront home.
