If I could give more stars and praise, then I would. We first contacted Ryan Ryckman when my wife and I were considering moving to a different home in the local area to accommodate our growing family. Ryan, Christina, and the team at the Real Estate Group offered incredible communication, expectations, and availability. Knowing the market data for the area and our budget, Ryan and Christina were able to help us sell our home and move into a beautiful new home simultaneously. We could not have asked for a better real estate team! They were very responsive and knowledgeable, making the process easier to navigate - from “just browsing” to fully transitioning from one home to another. I know that they are passionate about their profession and that carries over to their clients. We had a few hurdles with the listing agent for the home we bought that could have hindered the sale, if not for Ryan’s excellent professionalism and communication. Their experience allowed them to fill any gaps in the process and remove additional stress. We also really appreciated the follow-up after the sale of home, ensuring our satisfaction in our life-changing decision.

Ryan and Christina were amazing to work with during our difficult and unique situation: selling a home after a loved one’s passing while living in another state. Their communication was excellent and guided us toward resources that would help us, above and beyond selling my loved one’s home. Ryan and Christina’s compassion during an overwhelming time was greatly appreciated.

They have completely excluded me from being a part of the closing of the house in every single way. Update: We turned to the Ryckman's because they helped my fiance with a rental a couple of years ago. We were in a really bad situation where the house we were living in had severe black mold and chipping/exposed lead paint and being condemned. We had lived there for nearly a year, so we desperately needed to move out asap. We explained to the Ryckman's our situation and that our Aunt and Uncle were going to help us with getting our very first home. They seemed to understand, explained that they've been there before, and asked us what we were looking for. When it came to listings, we just received a large, generic list that we went through and sorted through ourselves and for some reason, we STILL get that list emailed to us... They never once had a recommendation for us, just a list put together on a website. We gave them specific houses that caught our attention, toured a couple (we only met Ryan and his assisted in person) and then decided to put an offer down. Our offer was accepted immediately and we were beyond eager to move in. The house was inspected and unfortunately a few things were missed that we didn't find out about until moving in, so that's been fun, but we're just grateful to be out of our previous situation. I mean, it beats black mold and lead paint, am I right? The really sad part? The entire interaction was disconnected and cold. They didn't celebrate us getting our very first home, nor seemed to care accept through text or email. They literally sent the "congratulations on your new home" package to our Aunt and Uncles house. Even better? THEY KEEP EXCLUDING MY NAME FROM EVERY CARD THEY KEEP SENDING US and when we called it out on our previous review, they IMMEDIATELY sent a card to us, but with my name spelt wrong. They are consistently asking for our referrals and it's beyond insulting at this point. We run a landscaping business and they recently left ANOTHER card, but complimenting our lawn in it. We've had this house for a year now and it's like they still don't know who we are or what we do. I've lost track with how many business cards they've left us at this point. They're welcome to ask for our cards as well if our referrals are so important to them. The reason I say that? They just randomly come by without ever knocking or calling and drop off random "gifts" to both our house and our Aunt and Uncles. We have them on camera just rushing away every time. It's really awkward and impersonal. Honestly, I was sad that we never even took a picture in front of our new home, let alone at least receive the congratulations package instead of our Aunt and Uncle... All of it was just absolutely impersonal and quick. I'm pretty sure we were one of their fastest closings on a home, so I hope they enjoyed the incredibly easy commission that came with it. I will say they have included several gift cards in their cards with an either $10 or $15 balance to TJ MAXX, Wawa, Home Depot and our Aunt and Uncle got one for Panera Bread as well as a bottle of cleaning spray and a candle... pretty random overall, but we appreciate the gesture? At this point, I would not recommend them. I worked in sales for years and that's all it has felt like working with them. There's much more personal real estate agents in the area that we wish we had gone with instead.
