Gretchen Keating was a fantastic buyers’ agent for us as we were relocating to the Milwaukee area. She was very candid and pointed out issues in homes we were considering, even when she could have instead chosen to encourage us to buy and make an easy sale. She was also ALWAYS available and checking in, and thoroughly researched every potential home on the market that could be a good fit for us. The one time she had a conflict when we wanted to be first in the door for a listing (at her recommendation), she arranged for Ricky from her team to be there, who was also fantastic. Gretchen’s knowledge of the area and the market also helped us avoid wasting time with listings that looked great online but she knew would not work for us. Finally, Gretchen had clear strategy suggestions when we were ready to make an offer, when she knew we were going to be in competition. We made offers on two homes that were in competition. On the first one, the sellers came back to us with the counter and opportunity to buy at a higher price, instead of responding to one of our competitors, since Gretchen had us positioned as the first offer. We ultimately declined to go higher on that house. With the home we ultimately purchased, Gretchen again positioned us to get the house, when several other offers were also on the table.
