I really don't know where to begin with this review. My husband and I began our home buying process SEP20. So, I researched to find a realtor and came across Conrad Jackson. I read his reviews and they were raving, so I told my husband we should reach out to him and we did. We met up with him to look at a home in Desoto, but didn't like the backyard, so my husband and I found a new build in Terrell, TX that we liked. So, we asked Conrad if he would be our realtor for the new build in Terrell and he agreed. So, we put a contract on the new build and Conrad stated we would have a quiet period. Unbeknownst to us, we didn't know exactly how quiet. The closing date was suppose to be FEB21. FEB21 comes and goes and not a word from Conrad. The last thing we heard from him was in SEP20. So, we were thinking what was going on with the house, so we decided to reach out to the builder ourselves and find out. There were delays on some things so the date was pushed back. It would have been nice to be advised of that. We understood during COVID things were gonna be delayed, so our closing date was pushed to APR21, which this information came from our lender. So at this point, we are like what the hell is really happening with our realtor. So, we texted him on 3.11.21 to advise of what was told to us by the lender and after confirming with the builder, this was also after I had emailed the builder. Bottom line, all the updates and information that we started to receive from that point came directly from the builder and the loan officer. I'm not sure what the difference was with my husband and myself with this realtor, but our experience was horrible. By the way, I was texted the day before our closing that our realtor would not be present, which I didn't think he would show anyways after the relationship that he had established with us. The communication was not there and it would have been nice to be kept in the loop about the house. Closing went well thanks to our loan officer, George. He was definitely the bright spot during this process. I did my homework on this realtor and did not get the experience all the good reviews were talking about.
