I called Bailey and told her I wanted to put an offer in on approximately 18 acres with 300 plus ft of frontage on the Baldwin river. She stated they wouldn’t drop the price because they just listed it. I said I’ll give you full price for it then. She was on vacation until the following Monday. She said I could sign a few things electronically and send in my earnest money. I didn’t want to take a chance of not getting the property, so I said I’d just drive up to Baldwin and deal with it in person. She said she would have Connie write up a contract. I showed up within two hours and gave the $500 earnest money and i signed “their” contract which stated $500 earnest 8% interest land contract with $8000 down. I signed it and it stated we’d close in about a month. On or before a date a month later. I brought the grandkids up there and showed my family that week. Everyone was excited w our new river property. One week after signing “their” terms, I showed up at the office and wondered if we could possibly lose any sooner. I walked in and asked for Braily instead of Baly and they just looked at me like I was definitely in the wrong place. I said “you don’t have a Braily working here” someone said , “ oh you mean Baily? WOW really? How close do.i have to be? Well i introduced myself and said i was in last week and signed the contract on the 18 acre river property and would like to close as soon as possible. They said oh im sorry that property is no longer available, someone put down a bigger down payment! Needless to say i was pissed. I signed their contract!🤬They never called and said can you put down more money? They just sold it to who they wanted to after the fact. I contacted lawyers and even though they deliberately screwed me over, it’s mor of an ETHICAL thing than legal becas John Weaks the owner didn’t sign the contract, even though they represented him, wrote the contract and signed it on his behalf! 🤬🤬🤬They are dirty! Stay away from this reality company! Especially BailyRandall!
