Misty Wilson is amazing! I had a bad experience before with a realtor, so I was skeptical. However, I signed up with Homes for Heroes and the program connected me with Misty. She was kind, quick to reply, knowledgeable, professional, but also easy going. It kind of felt like I was looking at houses with a friend and that made it less stressful. I remember asking her if a home that we looked at was in a flood plain with a follow up question ready to ask if I could see where she found that information. Us Marines like to deal in certainty. She replied rather quickly with a screenshot of the FEMA flood map showing me that it was not. It was all downhill from there. Misty was with me every step of the way and even asked the questions that I did not know that I could ask. I also realized that she had great attention to detail, and I wasn’t just being picky with the things that I noticed. It was almost as if she was looking at the home for herself. During the walk throughs, she assisted in pointing out things that needed fixing and as I asked questions, she took note of them and got back to me with answers. Even questions about the services in the area. It was more of me thinking out loud, “I wonder if the internet service is any good?” Later she would tell me that she asked someone that has the service, and they didn’t have any complaints about it. I would highly recommend Misty to anyone I know and if I was out somewhere and overheard a conversation where someone was saying that they needed to find a realtor, I would go against the social norm to jump in the conversation and recommend Misty to them as well. If you are working with another realtor… then you have the wrong one. I just remembered another important detail. Everything was complete and I closed on the home. It turned out that my earnest money was going to be reimbursed and I just had to wait on the check. A few days later Misty reached out to see if I had gotten it yet. When she found out that I had not, she was quick to reach out to the builder to see why. AMAZING!

Misty was absolutely amazing throughout our entire home-buying adventure! As first-time home buyers, my husband and I had a LOT of questions, but she was always there to guide us. She always made herself available to help and welcomed us into her world like family. Her genuine care and incredible patience were evident from day one. Misty took the time to truly listen to our needs and wishes and made us feel incredibly heard and valued. She was such an excellent advocate for us with the sellers and builders, jumping in to point out things we might have missed. We absolutely love our home and will most definitely be using her in the future when we look to buy again!
