Metropolitan Property Group

All around unprofessional company avoid if at all possible. Bad communication, bad record keeping, a pain to pay rent, upon moving out they will insist on doin walk through with out you and charge 100 for non existing issues and will be late with remainder if any of deposit. Avoid Metropolitan property group of florida as a tenant if at all possible. Below are pictures of my apartment upon moving out in which I was charged 100 for cleaning fee. 🙃

Tyler Barney from MPG was the most professional, kind, and hard working broker I have ever worked with. He found me the perfect apartment and followed all of my requests with what I was looking for. Tyler goes above and beyond and was always attentive and reassuring me he would find the right place. He outdid himself! I am very lucky to have worked with him!!

Asked for a $500 good faith deposit, then the rent was raised 250$. As soon as I saw it was raised I contacted them to send back my deposit. Three days later I had to call and get them to initiate. I was told they have never heard of me and although I had already sent verification of requested items needed in order to get it back. I was then hung up on and had to call back again. I would not do any business with this group and I will be reporting to the BBB, police, and with my bank to dispute this charge.

I had such a bad experience with Gerard Hierro, real estate agent at this place. Unprofessional, poor work ethics, poor communication skills. If you like an apartment, call the company directly. I went to see an apartment and immediately felt in love with the place. The same day, I sent my application with all the information needed. I also put a security deposit to take the apartment off the market as per his advice. I waited over the weekend for the process to take place. He never reached out to update me, I had to text him to find out what was going on. 5 days later he asked me for a recommendation letter from my landlord and employer which I provided. Few days pass, i don’t hear from him. After almost 2 weeks of my application was submitted i Sent him a text one morning asking for an update, no response from him. When I call the company in the afternoon my application was still in process. The next day another agent called me to let me know that the apartment was rented over the weekend to someone else. I was qualified to get the apartment, put a deposit to take the apartment off the market , I was fast with all my paperwork, I was always responsive to his requests ,there was no good reason for me not to get the apartment . The new agent apologized for him and tried to help me out but after the experience I decided to keep my search somewhere else. Never received a direct apology from the agent.

We had such a pleasurable experience working with Laura Smith and Metropolitan Property Group! I was very nervous to start the dreaded NYC apartment hunt for our second time. But as soon as we met Laura, she made us feel excited and hopeful that we would find an apartment we love. Laura worked so hard to find apartments that would meet our picky criteria - she even went and looked at apartments without us to make sure everything we actually viewed was worth our time! She was able to find us the perfect apartment UNDER budget, and we are so excited to call it home. What I thought would be dreadful turned out to be so fun - all because of how enjoyable Laura made it for us. We found a true friend with Metropolitan Property Group, and we will 100% be working with them and Laura again to find future homes. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
