The second time I worked with Lauri, I was moving back CONUS - in a tricky situation with another house I bought. I wanted a needle in a haystack - a VA/FHA Assumable loan with a lower (less than 4%) interest rate and less than $100K split. Ideally a VA assumption that was willing to give up entitlements, in a good school district, etc. She miraculously found several contenders. We found one that checked all the boxes (and then some), started the assumption process and DoD Civilian Hiring Freeze impacted our ability to qualify. Lauri persevered and found us an option that worked with our tricky house OCONUS situation, the DoD Hiring Freeze, and checked several other boxes. Since we were OCONUS, she helped coordinate everything from the home inspection to a remote closing. She even coordinated a few upgrades after closing before we arrived back stateside. It was one of the easiest real estate transactions I have ever experienced. Even with the hiccups along the way, Lauri was understanding and supportive! We will definitely plan to work with her again if buying in the Hampton Roads area
