Very helpful in making the sale of my home and move go smoothly. I was going through a lot of obstacles and had never moved off this island in my life so you can only imagine the anxiety I was feeling. She came highly recommended by good friends of mine. I had also watched these friends with their own sale and move to the mainland and witnessed how she was above beyond any realtor I had ever worked with. She started with a pre-inspection which was very helpful in pin-pointing things that needed to get done beforehand to get the home sale-ready. She was very organized and did all the footwork in getting landscapers, handymen, electrician, painters etc and set up all the appointments. She even put together a calendar of the appointments and timelines to meet. Due to events I had to move the dates several times and she patiently just drew up new calendars to meet my personal needs. She did all the shopping for me to give my home a beautiful curb appeal. When the storms hit the island it messed up the yard a bit but she got out there herself and fixed the landscaping for me. Moving my things was going to be expensive and I was going to donate most things myself. She saved me a lot of time by having things picked up at the house so that I didn’t have to go back and forth to donation centers and could focus on work. I want to say I only had to take a couple of days off from work for the whole ordeal. After all the repairs and staging, I wanted to move back in! My home sold quickly and over asking price after the first showing and escrow was as smooth as could be! She didn’t stop there. She interviewed realtors in Washington where I’m relocating. She found the perfect realtor who found me a home in one day of arriving in Washington for the house hunt. Now I’m back in Hawaii tying up loose ends with work but when I get to Washington, all I have to worry about is two suitcases and my dog. I’d recommend Karen to anyone. I wasn’t the easiest client being discombobulated and a bit all over the place. However, because of her kindness and patience I got through it. She’s not only decent professional but a truly wonderful human being. 😇
