I was referred to Jimmy by a friend turned banker and I was impressed right of the bat by Jimmy's quickness to respond and attentiveness to my needs. I had worked with other realtors in the past and had awful experiences. I never felt pressured to buy a home; Jimmy was extremely patient with me knowing how picky I was going to be buying my new home. Throughout the closing process, Jimmy was constantly my advocate, making sure I wasn't charged unnecessary lending fees and the sellers were content. He went the extra mile to help move furniture in and used his handyman to touch the place up before I moved in. Jimmy is an extremely attentive, resourceful, patient, and--most importantly--genuine. Jimmy is always available to help me with even the smallest real estate questions. He is even more well-connected now at Compass, with great resources for handy work and photographers and the like. He's helped me sell my house and purchase my dream house in Hayes Valley. He's transparent, honest, and tells you like it is. He is patient with dealing with the annoying processes of home buying / selling -- a positive, upbeat demeanor with anyone you throw his way, from escrow companies to HOAs to bankers to shady sellers. Jimmy helped our family purchase our first home this year and the process from start to finish was so seamless! Jimmy’s truly an experienced realtor and his knowledge about the real estate market shows. Jimmy and his team educated us as first-time buyers on the process and helped answer all our questions patiently. We never felt any pressure from Jimmy to put an offer on a home, he really put our best interests first. After touring a couple of homes, our family found an estate listing that just went on the market. We saw the potential and decided to quickly put an offer in. Jimmy made our first home purchase so easy - No bidding wars, no month-long renovations, and on budget! We visited our first open house with Jimmy on a Sunday afternoon, liked it, and Jimmy proceeded to send us a comprehensive package of documents on the condo. He promptly answered all our questions and helped us put in a competitive bid that evening. We got the bid the next day! Talk about efficiency, that was less than 24 hrs from our first open house visit to buying a home, I don’t think it gets much faster than this in San Francisco proper. From this experience, I was most impressed by Jimmy’s thoroughness. In addition to the surreal 24hr experience of home purchase, Jimmy referred us to an equally proficient mortgage specialist, connected us to a contractor, gave us recommendations to home improvements we can make, and even helped us with movers! Now that we are ready to buy a replacement home, we were thrilled he was available again to help guide us through the tortuous process in this hot housing market.
