Jane and her team @ Grubb Co. (special shout out to Carrie!) are phenomenal, best in class. They helped us sell Ken's parents' house in the Oakland hills earlier this year (4/2025), when the market was full of uncertainties. The house sold quickly and above asking and above the market comparables, with multiple bidders, and despite being in an fire zone. Anyone interested in the "bottom line" should give Jane a call. And for those who value the unquantifiable things, we were impressed by Jane's professional, calm, pragmatic, affable, organized, results-oriented approach. She is a delight to work with, and she made a very difficult job -- selling after his passing in a troubled market -- an orderly and (surprisingly) low-stress affair. Jane did an incredible job selling my house! The price was great, I got multiple very competitive bids (most for cash), and we only needed one open house weekend. Her marketing was extensive, and it showed in the hundreds of open house visitors. She managed many brokers to coax out multiple strong bids. Her advice on the listing price and the preparation work (staging, painting, other changes) to optimally sell the house was great and crucial. She and her assistant Carrie managed the vendors to do this work, saving me much agony. She and Carrie spent hours helping me with disclosure statements, quite lengthy in my case because I made so many improvements to the property over the years. She and Carrie worked very long hours for weeks to make the sale a success. She and Carrie earned every penny of their fee and much more.
