What can I say? Lisa always impresses me! 2 houses sold, 1 house purchased, and now in another in contract to buy! We moved to the Huntsville area back in 2021 and have been renting since then. She had no idea that we were even ready to buy another home until Tuesday of this week. I call her up on Tuesday asking if she'd drive to Meridianville this weekend to help us in our new construction search. (Yes, I'm that person?! Sorry, Lisa). She went above and beyond, as always, to make sure I had everything I needed to be informed about these communities, including their HOA restrictions. For those of you who don't know, these are the hardest things to track down. She did all of this in 3-4 days! I know it's her career but it's more than that to her. You can tell she wants the best for her clients. (I think of her more as a friend now). She has always been honest with us regarding every step of the process. She's never been afraid to tell me the good and bad in a home, even when it broke my heart. It truly says alot about the character of a realtor when they drop everything to make your dream come true. Side note, her husband Richard (also a realtor) may not be the person we call but his work definitely does not go unnoticed. The fact that he comes in and gives his honest, expert advice about these homes from a male perspective is extremely useful and appreciated. Having them work together you truly get the best of both worlds. They both think through things slightly different and both gave us so much to think about. Things I'd never even think to consider. Both of their attention to detail is astounding. I may have drove them crazy requesting to re-view properties after we already locked the doors and moved on...oops. But, they never rushed us or made us feel stupid for the questions. They were ready to give us time to think about the purchase over lunch or even longer. We were actually the ones to say, we can have lunch, but let's buy this property first! Hahaha. We are just beginning the buying process this time but I feel safe knowing that Lisa and Richard will help us navigate this process to ensure we have the best possible experience! Also, people say that it's okay to buy new construction without your own realtor. I did look at the builders quality without a realtor. **We eliminated like 8 builders before calling her. There are so many areas and builders in the Huntsville area, i did not want waste valuable time.--Lisa would have spent weeks or months helping with that had i given her the chance.But, the moment I was serious about buying, I called Lisa. You want your own representation! She found things on a contract that needed to be fixed. It might seem like little things but it's guaranteed I wouldn't have noticed them!
