One can only imagine the overwhelming experience it can be selling one's first home. I received a tutorial and suggestions on what upgrades are required to create a marketable sale from Van Kendall a year ago. Having partially been able to complete said suggestions, I was curious how much the home can be sold for 'as is'. The agent came, provided the possible figures. To have been transparent, honest, professional, and cooperative throughout this q&a, this agent walked away feeling the needs to be curt and abrasive because he did not get the immediate sale. 24 hours to calm my nerves and excitement of the possibility of selling my daughter's childhood home requires collaboration with and respect for the other decision-making adult. I asked for 24 hours and probed about certain what ifs and Van decided to be condoscending and rude without any remorse for his abrasive behaviour. It is especially important to be ready because we plan to use the revenue to purchase our next home. This agent and his office receptionist were disrespectful and discourteous towards a very respectful client. Two similar experiences in one day from the same company where this client maintained calm, and composure even when treated indifferently, says a lot about who they are. This process is a very intimate, personable one where the very basics deserving towards ALL should be dignity and respect. Imagine when parts of the process becomes demanding with stringent deadlines? We would not like to be in partnership with such individuals who buckle and lose all etiquettes under pressure. I hope they improve soon though from previous reviews, it is evident they may not.

They don't try to help you, just lazy people trying to do as less as possible like their service is free, we went for a closing at the time they said and when we got there we just signed papers but had to wait 2 days for the keys to be able to move in, and they were careless about are request to try to get the keys right the way
