I was a buyer for a recent transaction I would like to recognize my realtor from Riverbend realty for the exceptional service she provided throughout the entire process. From start to finish she was professional and responsive, and always kept me informed. Communication was outstanding, and she made sure every detail was handled correctly. Our original closing date was scheduled for May 29th, but due to fraudulent wire transfer issues. The closing was unexpectedly delayed. During what could have been an extremely stressful situation, my realtor remained calm. Reassuring,and proactive she guided me through every step, kept constant communication with both me and the title company and worked diligently to help resolve issues. Her knowledge, patience, and dedication gave me confidence through a very difficult time. Unfortunately there are always people that want to criticize situations that they're not involved in, and do not fully understand what's going on. As someone who was directly involved in this transaction I can confidently say that my realtor went above and beyond to protect my interests and ensure everything was handled properly. I am extremely grateful for her hard work, professionalism, and commitment. My mother recently sold her home in a transaction where the buyer’s agent was with Riverbend Realty Group. Unfortunately, our experience was very frustrating due to poor communication and lack of timely updates during the closing process. The closing was originally expected on 05/29 and was pushed to 06/02. On 06/02, we learned that one of the buyers was not available, which further delayed the closing/funding process. We do not feel that we were kept adequately informed, and the lack of communication created unnecessary stress and hardship for my mother, who had already moved out and was waiting for the transaction to close. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage better communication and proactive updates from the agent and brokerage, especially when delays impact a seller’s ability to move forward.

I cannot thank Brenda enough for helping us get into our amazing home! We moved from Mississippi to Texas in probably the worst time for buying a home. Brenda was 100% honest with the process but her positive attitude and energy she had at every house showing we went to (and it was a lot of houses) just gave me the encouragement that we were going to eventually find “the one”. Sure enough after months of looking we found the perfect house! I cannot recommend her enough to everyone, she is the absolute best!

My wife and I put in an offer on a house with Brenda Delcambre representing the seller. We used another agent from the same company on our end. We were told there was a cash offer and that we were coming in low (offering 10k above with a VA loan). The cash offer actually backed out of the deal before ours was accepted, and Brenda lied and tried to have us waive any repairs to the house and offer more in order to beat the cash offer that already backed out. When the appraisal came in $50k short, Brenda tried to call my lender and have them submit a Reconsideration of Value in order to bring the appraisal up without talking to me (I was the approving authority), and also tried to get the appraisal from my lender. All of which happened behind mine, and my realtors back. My lender eventually had to email Brenda and inform her that she needed to communicate with either myself or my realtor, and that the information she was requesting wasn’t hers to authorize. Eventually after the appraisal, Brenda made several offers that were in the ballpark of our budget without ever talking to the seller because after considering the counter offer to the appraisal, the sellers came back with a completely different number that wasn’t even apart of the negotiations that Brenda was offering on their behalf. Horrible experience and it all seemed very shady.

Brenda Delcambre is always punctual when showing me investment properties. She gets the information on properties quick, answers questions thoroughly and has back-up properties as she is a great networker. She is extremely cognizant of the big picture on each deal. I highly recommend her or her Riverbend Agents especially but not limited to investment properties. I will contract her personally on my next home purchase.
