Thank goodness for Renee, Genevieve And the whole team for helping navigate a difficult situation of the first realtor and Broker. My Mom worked with Renee many moons ago at State Farm insurance. Mom recalls to this day when Renee left State Farm to start on her own business in real estate. Renee and her assistant Genevieve were great to work with. Renee really knows her stuff and made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming. Both of us, butter and seller, used the same realtor. Everything went heat up through the closing. I had just gotten out of Moffit after a major surgery and 40 day stay due to cancer. My husband had been dealing with working, dealing with me and caring for our five year old. The house was being bought for him and our son because they didn’t expect me to survive. After the closing they refused to give us the keys to our house. Renee actually took them so no one could give them to us for a couple days. We were not told about this in advance at all so that just added stress. Our lease was running out where we were living and we only had a few days to get moved. We wanted to get started. By the time we were given the keys we had one day to move. Then we were promised a house warming party which we were looking forward to considering all the stress but that never happened either. One good thing was we were allowed to use the moving truck from Renee butler so that helped. I obviously survived but my husband died so it’s only my son and I now. We missed out on the joys of a new home and we can never get that back.
