The two things I remember when I bought my home in 2001 are the two-hour non-stop “sign and initial here” session and the endless days of anxiety and last-minute document requests leading up to the closing, wondering when the deal was going to fall apart. Life was very different then; the Real Estate industry was very different then; my lifestyle, career, priorities and future goals all grew with many twists and turns. So, 25 years later, recently retired and facing new realities and exciting opportunities, I decided to sell my home. I had no clue where to start. There was no question left unanswered, no stone unturned, no fact or plan unknown. Consequently, there was no anxiety like in 2001. And the actual closing took only 20 minutes—unheard of, but only possible because Dan made sure the title company who handled the closing had all the necessary documents pre-digi-signed via app or email. Best of all, Dan is a man of faith and throughout the entire process we put our trust in the Lord, got a chance to pray and catch up after all these years--and even managed to get some singing in.
