If you're buying your first home, do yourself a favor and have Jocelyn be your agent. I was referred to Jocelyn by my loan officer after years of searching for a home in DC and multiple failed offers. I took over a year off looking for a home due to how discouraging it got. I finally returned to the market in 2026 and Jocelyn quickly helped me close on my first home. I've now been a homeowner for less than a month and I still can't believe how easy and smooth the process was with her. Everything just... clicked with her. A few things I really appreciated about her that wasn't my experience with past agents: 1. She asked me if I wanted her opinion and always gave me incredible advice about things I didn't know to ask. 2. While I was all nerves and moving like a deer in headlights on closing day, she was in the background checking that the toilets still flushed, the dishwasher still worked, the sink faucets had good water pressure, etc. (just generally looked out for me from beginning to end). 3. She is extremely responsive. Her speedy and clear communication took all the guesswork out of the process. I could text her anytime and she would get back to me within minutes with solid, thoughtful responses. I never felt like I was bothersome with any of my random questions. Bonus: She has invaluable contacts like general contractors that have been as amazing to work with as her. I could go on and on. Simply, Jocelyn is simply THE BEST.
