We would absolutely choose to work with Holly again! She was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, negotiated on repairs, kept our budget and key home needs in mind, and walked us through every step. She gave us time to review documents and information, and while she communicated important timelines, and the state of the market, she never pressured us to sign or make a choice. Holly Young (at Delap Real Estate) was our buyers agent for a recent home purchase and she was wonderful to work with. She has extensive knowledge of the local real estate market, knows contractors who were able to estimate potential costs, and was extremely helpful at negotiating a fair price. We were traveling out of town during part of the offer process and Holly was very comfortable working remotely through calls, texts, and emails. When we were back in town, she was equally responsive to meet in person. We were committed to finding a new home in the Pioneer Valley - 3 months to search the Spring listings and make an offer. Where to start? After interviewing a few local realtors, we selected Holly Young from Delap. From the first questions we asked, we were sure Holly was the best to help us. We were given more than just answers - we were provided strategies, logic, and insight that only comes from a true professional. Holly clearly knows the current market, and met us personally at every listing we wanted to see. Never any push-back, attitude, or awkwardness no matter how many questions / concerns / emails / texts / last minute apprehensions we threw at her. (And we had quite a few!) Her online MLS listings came fast and made choosing which homes to see easy. She handled the listing agents, bid offers, and any setbacks with grace and aplomb. We very highly recommend Holly. She helped us with our downsizing project, which entailed selling two unique properties, and buying a new condo. She found the perfect buyers for our properties - one in which a parent had lived, and the other being an equestrian property. Holly led the process for each with professionalism, strategic-thinking and planning, and leaving no detail undone. She provided excellent advice and direction on marketing and preparing each for sale - where staging was and wasn’t needed, what repairs needed to be done, etc. She has quite a network of reliable and dependable contractor and service recommendations, too. She is a perfectionist on presentation - photography, timing, and makes herself a knowledgeable expert on the property details. She even wanted to get familiar with our horses - and she’s not a horse person. She is very experienced and was an invaluable resource to us. And she aims for win-wins in finding perfect buyers. We really liked that about her. She works hard, but she was fun to work with, too - great sense of humor. And she’s unflappable. We panicked over a few things along the way. Holly never gets rattled. A calm, cool, effective and fast problem-solver. Responsive - excellent communication throughout. Made us feel like we were her only clients. This was big. Lastly, she helped us buy a perfect new condo and we had an opportunity to see another side of Holly - representing us as buyers. She takes her job in “representing clients” very seriously. Just great. So happy we crossed paths with Holly. Very highly recommended.
