Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties of Twin Falls

TL;DR Don't bother cleaning when you move out, because they'll use up your deposit on a cleaning company regardless. They were really good while we were tenants. Small maintenance issues were resolved quickly, though we did have to wait a month when the stove went out, and again when the dishwasher did. The only real problem was with cleaning and the deposit when we moved out. We were hoping to get a good chunk of the deposit back (minus the standard carpet cleaning), since we didn't cause any damage, scrubbed the place thoroughly after moving our stuff out, didn't smoke or have pets, and replaced the blinds. Coldwell Banker's rep even said it looked great when she did the walk-through with us, but then when we finally got the deposit back, it was only $27. We asked what happened, and they said they hired a cleaning company after the fact, and that used up the whole deposit. We emailed them back a couple of times, but they had stopped responding. Moral of the story: go ahead and rent from them, but don't expect anything back on your deposit. Don't replace anything or clean at all when you leave, because they're going to do it again anyway.

I was working with Haley when at first went to Idaho and bought a house. She did wonderful. She does good when she's helping people buy a house. And I'm pretty sure her husband does good too. But her husband was not in sewing mode at the time that Hailey was. So 2 years later, when me and my wife went back through Haley and her husband as Partners. Not saying they don't do good. But Haley. On the other hand does better of helping people buy a house than she does sell it. She put our house on the market for $20000 more than needed be. I got rid of her and went to a company that sold my house within a month. I'm glad I went through him instead. I'm not saying koala banker sucks, but hopefully people do better buying houses. After people been in service buying and selling them a lot longer than about 4 years. They need more experience. That's all I'm saying. She is a very good person and very honest. She does better helping you bye not selling.

Renay has been absolutely Wonderful! She is so nice and had several houses for me to look at. She made sure to find houses in my price range and the specifics I was looking for. We found a perfect home with everything I wanted and a quiet location like I wanted, in a very short time. She is honest, answered all of my questions, and is very professional. I would Highly recommend her. She did a Fantastic job.

I would discourage anyone to go through Coldwell Banker Twin Falls for any type of business. Completely unprofessional, incompetent, and arrogant staff and owner. No communication at all and no will to do what is right. They are only after the money and are completely disrespectful. I rented a house through them (Canyonside Property Management) who is located inside and associated with Coldwell Banker. The entire experience was a complete joke. I would give a zero star if I could.

Living out-of-state and trying to buy a house in Twin Falls ID was a challenge! My lender introduced me to Mikahla Shook @ Canyonside back in August 2019. We spent a Lot of time chatting, texting, emailing and with her sending lots of "leads" for me to peruse, I zeroed in on a couple handfuls of properties to investigate in-person, in February. Over all this time, Mikahla has been (and continues to be) Most helpful, professional, super nice and knowledgeable. When I visited the area to do actual house-hunting, she was extremely gracious and generous with her time - pointing out lots of local features and giving honest opinions on properties when I asked. Even though was a bit early in my plan, I ended up making an offer on a house that was accepted! Mikahla worked with my lender and title company very well to ensure things moved along. Overall, my wife Rita and I couldn't be happier! Thanks so much!
